Fundraising for cause areas including:

Mental health and suicide prevention

On November 7th I'm running 33 miles around Orange County and eating a Taco Bell item at nine separate points along the way. Eleven hour limit. Antacids are banned — actual rule. Wrappers are counted at the finish and if one is missing, I'm disqualified.

Entry is free. That should tell you everything about the decision-making on display.

I'm doing it for Movember, because the numbers are bad. One in eight men will face prostate cancer. Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in young men. And far too many men die by suicide without ever telling anyone they were struggling. Movember funds the research and the programmes working on all of it.

Here's the part where you don't just donate. You make this worse.

You own my face. Meet me at a Taco Bell and shave it into whatever shape you want. Pick a colour and I'll dye it. Tell me how it's styled on race day. Then tell me what I'm wearing on my upper lip for the next twelve months. I won't argue. I won't negotiate. One person gets this.
