My motivation

Fundraising for cause areas including:

Mental health and suicide prevention

Hello my favorite peeps!

Why I’m Running 50K for Men’s Mental Health
Last year, I ran the Chicago Marathon and, with the incredible support of friends, family and colleagues, raised nearly $3,000 for Movember. I said then that my journey wasn’t ending at the finish line. Since Chicago, I’ve completed the LA Marathon and, most recently, the Sydney Marathon. Now I’m going a little farther: 50 kilometers.

I’m taking on the Taco Bell 50K because men’s mental health is worth going the extra distance for. Too many men continue to struggle silently, and around the world, men die by suicide at disproportionately high rates. Behind every statistic is a son, brother, father, partner, friend or colleague whose life matters.

Running has taught me that you don’t have to see the entire road ahead. Sometimes you just keep moving—one mile, one conversation, one person at a time. This 50K is about keeping that conversation going and raising funds so more men have the support, resources and connection they need to keep going too.
