Men's health
Prostate cancer
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

Growing up our first aid kits came with a silent instruction manual: GET UP AND WALK IT OFF SON.

Unfortunately, even if you are tough and you've been knocked down sometimes trauma and problems can't be walked off. This means that so too many of us are toughing it out because we don't want to talk about it or ignoring our bodies telling there is something definitely wrong.

Too many men are dying too young, largely from preventable causes because help- seeking can feel foreign, so many men kick the can down the road. When they finally do seek assistance, they often don’t get the support they need, and this puts enormous pressure on the families and communities who care for men.

Do you know that 4 out of 5 suicides are men and that over 20 veterans a day take their own lives? Also that in every hour, of every day, that 60 men will take their own lives.
Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in men in the United States. Globally, more than 1.4 million men are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year.

Across the country, there are almost 3.25 million men living with and beyond the disease. Many are dealing with serious side effects from treatment.

One in Eight men will be diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in their lifetimes.

Testicular cancer is the most common cancer among young men.

It means we’ve got so many reasons to care about men’s health.

So, I wanted to reach out today to encourage you to check in with your friends, brothers, fathers, uncles and loved ones.
