Headspace, the company on a mission to improve the health and happiness of the world, partnered with the Movember Foundation for one reason: to help save men’s lives.
As the makers of the Headspace app, which has taught more than 10 million people the skill of mindfulness and meditation, Headspace is all about mental health. Movember’s mission is also especially close to Headspace, as in 2012 the company’s co-founder Andy Puddicombe survived testicular cancer.
They’ve created a brand new meditation pack designed to support those fighting with cancer and even given November to Movember, donating their sales from every Headspace subscription bought, renewed or gifted throughout the entire month, up to $250,000.
Now, to spread the word about the movement for men’s health, they’ve created a video series called The No BS Barbershop. At the Movember Barber Shop in Los Angeles, there’s no chatting about the weather, traffic or your favorite tv shows. The only discussions allowed here are about things that actually matter in life, like saving lives. Stay tuned for more videos in the No BS Barbershop series on the Headspace YouTube channel here.
