Men’s health is in crisis. Life expectancy of the American man is 5 years less than the American woman. Three out of four suicides are men and one in nine men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. There is no biological reason for this. Thanks to the efforts of our partners including Schick Hydro®, Movember is investing over $200,000 USD in over 150 research projects in the U.S. and internationally to develop new approaches in tackling men’s health and well-being.
Throughout the month of Movember, Schick Hydro® has been spreading the message of supporting men’s health with the Locker Room Talk series, consisting of four compelling episodes in which Love interviews iconic guests.

The greatest living swimmer, Michael Phelps speaks to his experience as an athlete and dealing with being in the spotlight. Basketball legend, Paul Pierce chats about leadership and the importance of being a role model. And finally, Love’s friend and teammate, Channing Frye talks with Kevin about life, love and loss. The purpose of the series is to shed light on what positive masculinity means today while simultaneously raising awareness and funds for the Movember Foundation and the Kevin Love Fund.

You can see all 4 episodes on the Schick Hydro® website here.

Through their partnership with the Movember Foundation, Schick Hydro® is looking to continually re-address the traditional concept of what it means to be a man and raise awareness for the issues that matter most to men. Through the power of conversation and taking better care of their health, men will live happier, healthier and longer lives.

Your chance to win a once in a lifetime trip to meet Kevin Love

In addition to encouraging these types of powerful conversations between men, Schick Hydro® is offering you a once-in-a-lifetime experience to meet Kevin Love and hang with him before a game, among other perks: omaze.com/lovehydro.
