My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

Growing up I had a sister that dealt with Cerebral Palsy, a neurological condition that can impair one's verbal capabilities and one's motor capabilities. I grew up in a time when society was far less kind and somewhat indifferent toward those that were special needs. The mean looks, hurtful remarks, and simply cold treatment that his sister would get left a mark on me and made me realize at such a young again the importance of having a healthy brain in order to live a full life. This realization led me to the conclusion that we as a society simply do not have enough proactive steps to ensure that our brains remain healthy and something has to be done about it. I think that brain health is very much contingent on mental health and should be put at the forefront of the conversation.
