Our Motivation

We Kellogg mustachios are banding together this month to raise awareness for a cause that is near and dear to our hearts.

We all know that men struggle to talk about what's going on in their heads, but it may shock you to know the extent of this issue. Globally, on average we are losing one man every minute of every day to suicide. Men also make up more than 7 out of 10 suicides worldwide. It's our brothers/dads/cousins/grandfathers/mates/colleagues that are making up these heartbreaking numbers.

Movember believes that by focusing on prevention, early intervention and health promotion, we can work towards a world where men take action to be mentally well, supported by those around them. And we want to do our part.

This month, by banding together to shave off our regular beards and stubbornly squeeze something out of our top lips we are prompting a conversation. It might not be much but it's cracking open a door to explain what this whole silly exercise is about. Men opening up, just a little. If we raise some money to support a great cause along the way, in our minds that's just a bonus.
