New Prostate Cancer Outcomes
Where The Money Goes
1 MIN READ
This week we announce the development of two new prostate cancer projects. These new initiatives will engage clinicians and researchers across 14 Movember Foundation countries including Austria, Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Project 1: Prostate Cancer Outcomes - compare and reduce variation
This project will help us better understand which clinical practices create better outcomes for men with localized prostate cancer. We will use this new information to improve the quality of lives of men and their families living through prostate cancer from around the world.

Project 2: Prostate Cancer Outcomes - advanced prostate cancer
This will involve the collection of clinical data, specimens and patient data for 5,000 men around the world with advanced prostate cancer. The project aims to understand different treatments, which combinations of treatments work best, and to collect both clinical data and blood samples to support future scientific research.

These projects add to the growing work by the Movember Foundation in collecting, comparing and reporting data on outcomes for men with prostate cancer. These investments represent a significant commitment from the Movember Foundation to improve clinical practices and outcomes for men with prostate cancer around the world.

Stay tuned - we’ll keep you posted on these exciting new initiatives and more.
