My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention
Men's health
Prostate cancer

A couple years ago, in 2021 my friend Ron and I were working towards the top of Mount Kilimanjaro with Movember. WE MADE IT!!!! Thanks to you all! There are men all over the world walking up their own mountain whether it be with cancer or in their head with mental health. This year give towards that mountain. THAT year I raised over $23,000. Not sure what this year will be but anything you can donate will help with research and awareness to save more men from dying to young! Below is my message from THAT 2021 year because there’s lots of good in there including the reason why I Movember.
2021’s message:
One step towards the top of Mount Kilimanjaro (elevation 19,341ft) and lots o’ $$$$$$ for Movember. I have a goal with my friend Ron (RT) Monson in March of 2022: Summit Kilimanjaro. At the end of July we applied and were selected from a national opportunity for Movember participants. Two old, fat guys are going to work their fund raising abilities, bodies, and minds in shape to attain this amazing goal at this point in their lives.

My dad, Arnold Christiansen died at the age of 58 in 1999 due to prostate cancer. Our family watched him deteriorate over a year. It was very painful yet very meaningful. I joined Movember more than 10 years ago because of this. We miss him terribly.

The Movember Foundation is the only global charity focused solely on men’s health, so this is why I'm on board. It raises funds to tackle some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and poor mental health. Help me stop men dying too young and hep me get to the top of Kilimanjaro.

Thank YOU for your help!!!!

Here’s a video my son Arne made about it:

FYI: 19,341 is the elevation of Mt. Kilimanjaro AND and ultimate $$$$ goal for MOVEMBER THIS YEAR!!!!! LET'S GO!!!!!!!

Something very big happened on Halloween. I decided to do Movember this year with their official rule: start fresh over the lip-no moustache. So I cut it off. I tried to preserve it for all humanity with a trick from a friend. The result was.....well, not what I expected. It was devastating.

Hey Blake, Connor here from Mo HQ. You’re doing an awesome job this Movember! Here is a little inspiration to keep your Mo going strong in these final few days. You’re a legend. Mo on!
