Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

Movember is back and better than ever folks. LFG. This is the Bar Mitzvah of my mustache. Lucky year number 13! I would like to wish a hearty yasher koach (a Hebrews phrase for congratulations) to the beautiful and distinguished hairy creations that have graced my face over the past 13 years. My mustache finally becomes a man this year and we look forward to all the manly things it will be doing moving forward.
This years Stache will be referred to as the Anchor. Dana once again won the mustache design contest this year which means she will only be able to say positive things about her husband having facial hair for the month.
The goal this year is $20,000 . Your contribution will help someone fight their battle, raise awareness, and provide support systems to men with mental illness. Your contribution makes a difference.

Part of the reason the Movember campaign is successful is because people see the mustache and ask questions about why I am growing such a distinguished friend on my face. The mustache is a great conversation starter and gives me an opportunity to talk about the importance of men getting regular checkups, seeking help if they need someone to talk to, and doing things they need to do on a daily basis to stay healthy. I am growing the Stache in honor of Eli, Marcie, Dad, Jeff, Chad ,Papa Jerry, Harold, Bryan, J, Uncle Sam, Brian N , and everyone else who has been affected by cancer. Brian is currently fighting his battle and this years Stache is dedicated to him and his fight.

Another aspect of the campaign is to raise awareness for Men's mental health issues including depression, anxiety, and suicide prevention. Men need to know that it is ok to ask for help and the money you donate will support organizations so men can get the help they need to be healthy physically and mentally.

I am going to continue a fundraising tactic I started by accepting physical challenges for donations. Appropriate examples would be push-ups, jumping jacks, making free throws, bur-pees, etc. The deal is that if I choose to take on your "reasonable" physical challenge, you must "double” your original donation if I am able to complete it. If I am unable to complete the challenge, I will pay to double your original donation. For example, if you donate $100 (Thank You) and you want to see if I can do 100 jumping jacks shirtless then the challenge is on! If I am able to do the 100 jumping jacks you would make an additional $100 donation to Movember. If I am unable to finish the challenge, I will make a $100 donation in your honor. There is no limit on the challenges I will accept and I look forward to seeing some more creativity this year. I will be providing pictures/video evidence of the challenges on the Movember website and social media.

I am also going to bring back the Peloton challenge this year for anyone interested in seeing if you can "out cycle" me this month. The challenge is the difference between the amount of miles I ride vs the amount of miles you ride. The stakes are $1 a mile. For example If I ride 100 miles this month and you ride 50 miles, you owe an extra $50 donation to Movember. If I ride 100 miles and you ride 150 miles I would owe a $50 donation to the cause. Last year we only had 1 taker as if we can get 6 people to commit, I will make a one time $250 donation on top of the mile differential. If you are interested in saddling up against me, send me a separate email/text that you want to participate. The Peloton challenge will start November 5th for anyone interested.

I am proud to grow the Stache every year to support curing cancer, being proactive about catching cancer early, and giving men different resources to turn to for mental health issues.

Thanks again for the support and let's get ahead of cancer before cancer gets ahead of us.

Thank you all for your support as I hope you all join and wishing the Stache’s Bar Mitzvah a big Mazel Tov!

Aaron

Hey Aaron, James here from Mo HQ. Looks like you’re absolutely smashing it this Movember. You and your moustache are helping us kick prostate cancer in the arse. Great work. Mo on!

We are almost at the end of the line this month and so far we have raised $3792.00! There is still time left to make a donation that can really make a difference. Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far and to those jumping on the bandwagon today to make a donation.
