My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

My motivations?
- My friend and brother from another mother. He was a better friend than I was but never made me feel less. The world is a darker place without him.
- My Grandfathers. I didn't know them as well as I want to. I didn't know them as well as I should have. Much of this would be different in a world where young men's mental health was acknowledged and treated as the long-term problem/solution it clearly is.

I truly believe that the world would be a better place if there was a more inherent acceptance of and amongst men that it's ok to not be ok and get help.

And if my stache can help even just one dude, it's worth it.

Movember Pre-Game Update: The odds of choosing my November mustache couldn't be higher.

Right now, we have one entrant in the pre-game raffle to choose the mustache style I sport for our 10th-anniversary Movember campaign. Unless someone else joins the pool before tomorrow at midnight (00:00 on November 1st), that single supporter wins the drawing by default.

If you want to support men's health awareness and claim a 50% statistical chance of picking my look for the next month, the window closes tomorrow night.

⏳ Deadline: Tomorrow (Oct 31) at midnight

SOS (Save Our Stache-hostage): The Final Countdown

Avast ye!

I am sending this update via semaphore from somewhere in the Atlantic. The situation has escalated. The "Pirate" stache didn't just take the wheel; it has fully shanghaied the rest of me aboard a brigantine.

The power of this follicular overlord has grown to the point where it’s causing optical interference. As you can see in the attached photo, I can’t even get a clear picture of myself anymore—only the mustache comes out in high definition. My face is merely a blurry delivery mechanism for the stache at this point.

But there is hope. Tomorrow, December 9th, is the very last day for Movember contributions.

Legend has it (or at least, I’m hoping) that if we hit our final fundraising goal, the mustache’s mystical hold will be broken, the fog will lift, and I can finally return to Crystal Lake.

If you have been waiting for the right moment to help, this is it. Help me secure the final booty for men's health and buy my freedom back from this facial hair.

DONATE HERE TO BREAK THE CURSE:

Truly, thank you all for playing along with my nonsense this month and for the incredible generosity you've shown for a very serious cause.

Late Movember Log: When the Mustache Takes the Wheel

It’s officially the last week of November, and as we sail into the final few days of the month, I have to admit that things are getting a little weird. The "Pirate" stache I've been cultivating isn't just sitting on my upper lip anymore; it seems to be actively commandeering my internal monologue.

I look at our fundraising total—which is now agonizingly close to our ultimate $1,000 goal—and instead of thinking "Wow, what a great charitable contribution," my brain immediately screams "SECURE THE BOOTY!" before I remember I am, in fact, just a nerd in an office and not the scourge of the seven seas.

But truly, the support has been overwhelming. Thank you for helping me get this far.

I hope you all have a fantastic break this week. Whether you are celebrating or just enjoying the downtime, may your days be restful and your upper lips remain less complicated than mine.

If you are willing and able to help us cross the finish line, please consider tossing a coin our way. Your donations fuel Movember's incredible work in mental health, suicide prevention, and cancer research—helping men live happier, healthier, and longer lives (even the ones with questionable facial hair).

P.S. Avast ye, land lubbers! Keep a sharp eye out for any strange brigantines you don't recognize! I’m still not sure how the stache got it this far inland…

DONATE HERE & HELP US SMASH THE FINAL GOAL: https://movember.com/m/15049443?mc=1

For continued updates on the progress (both financial and follicular!), you can check my Movember - Home.

And as always: mental health matters. #Movember is working to help men stay mentally healthy, and they can’t do it alone.

Thank you, Brent Marnati

Hi, all!
I am truly blown away…absolutely wiped out, flattened, and obliterated…by the overwhelming generosity of the communities I run in. Y'all didn't just help this nerd crush his goals; you demolished them!
It is only the 14th of November, and with 16 days still remaining in the month, my initial fundraising target is now just a shadow in the rearview mirror. To keep this impressive momentum going, I have officially raised the goal! Thank you all for helping make this Movember effort an absolute success.
It seems the only thing harder than sculpting my current Pirate mustache (it’s still looking a bit more "Wet Cat" than "Blackbeard," but the effort is real) is containing the tidal wave of support you’ve all provided. My upper lip is genuinely humbled.
Thank you so heckin' much,
Brent Marnati
