My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

In November of 2022 time stopped when I was diagnosed with prostate cancer at the young age of 38. I had been married for just over a year and half and had a 1 year old baby girl, with another on the way. The days, weeks, and months following were some of the most overwhelming times of my life. Everyone was throwing out their thoughts and opinions while we tried to navigate what next steps looked like for us. We met with doctor after doctor trying to make some sense of where to go from there. In January, I had an MRI of my prostate that concluded that the cancer was contained to my prostate and that I had some time to breathe and decide how I wanted to treat and beat this cancer. After some time, and much prayer, we have decided to move forward with Active Surveillance for the next year, and will continue to make the best decision for my health as time goes on.

Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men's health, and this Movember I'm joining them with a whole new perspective. Together we can make a difference for men's health – in prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. Help me stop men dying too young.
