My motivation

Fundraising for cause areas including:

Men's health
Prostate cancer
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

My dad is a prostate and testicular cancer survivor and may not be here today without awareness of age and hereditary related risks along with regular check-ups.

Working in male dominated industries for the last 19 years in an occ. health capacity, I can confirm firsthand that men are generally not proactive in looking after their physical and mental health leading them to die in greater numbers than women from almost every non-sex-specific health problem.

I’m participating in Movember 2023 as a Mo-Sister (4th year running!) and, seeing as though I struggle to grow a mo, I’m walking/running/cycling 105 kms over the month of November instead…that’s 105 kms for the 105 men we lose every day to suicide in the US.
