An award-winning journalist and passionate digital storyteller, Zak Dahlheimer works as an anchor and reporter for WTKR News 3. A south Florida native, and proud alum of the University of Florida, Zak is eager to call Hampton Roads home. His career has taken him to Florida, California, North Carolina and Virginia.

Outside the newsroom, his other passions include playing guitar, riding motorcycles, traveling and cheering on the Florida Gators!

Zak is also a recent testicular cancer survivor. He’s passionate about volunteering with Movember, the leading charity changing the face of men's health. His story of survival, and experience having friends battle cancer fuels his desire to raise awareness and help others in their fight and road to recovery, while raising awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
