My motivation

Mental health and suicide prevention

This Movember I'm teaming up with my colleagues at The Platteville Shopping News to help inspire our local communities to get "Mo"bolized!

In correlation with Movember we are asking our friends, neighbors, and business owners to join the movement. Together we can change the face of men's health! Spread the word and donate towards your favorite moustache to show your support or sign up to join our fundraising team this Movemeber!

I grow a MO because like many, I've seen first hand the damage that prostate cancer can do to a loved one and want to do all I can to help prevent others from from facing the horrors of these struggles. Prostate cancer has directly affected my grandfather , my dad , and his twin brother. My grandpa faced these struggles for over 12 years until he passed away recently this past summer from his complications. Early detection was the key in saving the livelihood of both my dad and uncle. We need to start the conversation early and raise awareness for the health issues men face so others can be proactive and feel comfortable seeking the help they need.

Together we can make a difference for men's health – in prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. Help me stop men from dying too young.
