My motivation

This past spring, I lost a friend to a battle with mental health - and I know many others lost friends during such a challenging time as well. However big or small, I'd like to do my part to raise awareness and help raise money to work to prevent similar tragedies in the future.

If you know me you know that I can't really sit still and I enjoy pushing myself physically. A few weeks ago a friend told me I should sign up for the NYC marathon, something I've wanted to do, but I told myself I'd only do if I could run with a charity with a mission I believe in. I joined the waitlist for Movember's team, training in the hopes that I'd get a spot. Sure enough - I got called off the bench and onto the team. So here I am, asking for you to support my journey and consider donating to a cause that means a lot to me. Any donation is greatly appreciated and helps us make a difference in men's health going forward.

Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. Movember is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.
