Mental health and suicide prevention

My Motivation comes from personal experience. I have lost many friends, even my Grandfather, to the sad reality of suicide. I have watched many more struggle with the reality of Mental Health issues. The lack of education, awareness, and even the knowledge of HOW to talk about such things, are real problems that men face everyday in today's world. Far too many lives are drastically impacted by these situations that can be prevented! In a world of endless online videos, and memes, and whatever else mindlessly catches our attention. It isn't an easy task to get most Dads', Uncles', Brothers', and even just friends to look at, or talk about how they are doing, on a real level. Last June for Men's Health Week, and in Honor of the people I have lost in my personal life. I was as vulnerable as I’ve ever been. And set the World Record for Most Naked Skydives in 24 hours. 60 naked skydives in about 13 hours!!! This was physically trying, mentally trying, and absolutely worth the trying. I teamed up with Movember for this record event, with the hopes that even just one person would hear what they need to hear, make the connection they need to make, or voice the words they're needing to voice. Too many times, we say things like we 'Could have, Would have, and Should have." I am attempting this record, in a way, to show all of those people. ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE! Have you talked to your family and friends today? Have you reached out to that buddy you know could use a call? Life gets in the way sometimes. We all get busy! But, if someone could change or impact a life today...Why not You?
