My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Testicular cancer

In October 2019 I was diagnosed with and treated for testicular cancer. Since then, I have been receiving regular screenings in the form of blood tests, X-rays, and CT scans. I'm also participating in a clinical trial to allow my testing to be used for research to help others. I wouldn't say that it has been fun, but every phone call with a clear test result is a mini blessing, and I'm very thankful that I've avoided chemotherapy thus far.

October 2021 marks two years of clear screening results, meaning that I am still cancer-free as far as the tests can determine!

So this year, to celebrate, I'll be participating in Movember, and (you guessed it), growing a moustache! My goal is to even more than I did last year.

Besides helping research for testicular cancer, every donation to the link below will help my moustache grow stronger. And of course I'll post pictures along the way!

And a huge thank you to my wife for always being there for me, and for all of my friends and family who have supported me and checked in on me over the past year. It means more than you think it does.

After my post last year, I also had a few friends reach out to me privately, who were either going through, or had gone through a similar experience. Thanks to those friends for sharing your stories! And if anyone else reading these wants to talk privately, or ask any questions, please do!

Finally, please get yourselves checked regularly, don't be afraid to see a doctor if something doesn't seem right. Trust me, you'd rather waste your time finding out that you are healthy, than wait until the "easy" treatment is too late.
