My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

I've spent most of my life ignoring mental health. I did not realize that thoughts of suicide were not normal. I didn't realize that feelings of hate towards yourself were not normal. I would wade through dark times assuming these were aspects of life people dealt with. I had not known I battle with depression and anxiety. I decided to not hide this from people, especially those that I love, over the last couple of years because it is not something we should keep hidden- it is more dangerous when we hide it and avoid the discussions of the impact depression and suicide has on our society.

Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. The Movember Foundation is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.
