My motivation

Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

Last year marked the 10th anniversary of my father's death. My dad, Robert W. Martin (Bob), died on March 27, 2011, at 66, after a long, brave battle with prostate cancer. According to the American Cancer Society, about 1 man in 8 will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime. The Movember Foundation is working to halve the number of deaths from prostate cancer by 2030, and I want to help them get there.

The "Lusaka League of Extraordinary Mustaches" is a group of community members from the American International School of Lusaka (AISL), where I teach. As a team, we raise money and awareness for men's health issues in our school community. My dad was an amazing man who was loved by many and had dear friends who supported him through his fight against cancer. I sincerely appreciate your support.
