My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

Four years ago, right after my 20th birthday, I was diagnosed with testicular cancer. I had just started my junior year of college and never expected to have to put my life on hold so I could take care of my health. But that is exactly what I had to do and eventually after three months at home, many shots and tests, 9 weeks of chemo, and a bald head for Christmas, I started my life in remission.

That was a life-changing few months for me and now I have the opportunity to change the lives of others. I want to make sure everyone is aware of what's happening inside their bodies and not be afraid to ask for help. I'm participating in Movember to not let testicular cancer be the end, but just a bump in a guy's life. In the past few years, I've had multiple people reach out to me and ask for advice when they feel something that might be off with their bodies. I let them know how I dealt with that uncertainty and encouraged them to seek out the resources they needed. I hope everyone can feel comfortable asking for help when something is wrong either physically or mentally.

This year I'm even more excited to be joining Movember in climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro all in the name of men's health! It is going to be an incredible journey with other Movember supporters raising awareness of the issues that this organization works so diligently to tackle.

I'm doing this trek and growing a Mo to support the health of everyone who identifies as a man. I'm growing a Mo to make sure everyone knows when and how to ask for help in their life. I'm growing a Mo to change the status quo on masculinity and let no one go through it alone. I am a four-year testicular cancer survivor, a forever mo-bro and I can't wait to share this joy from the top of Africa in March 2023.

Way to keep it coming in Seattle Challenge! Just collectively pushed the $150k mark to the rear view mirror! Where will we sit when the dust settles? Let's shoot for $175k as a group.

Remember - leader board closes on December 8th at 2 PM PST, so rally those last folks in your network to dig in their pockets for change and get it on your tally for 2022!

Great work Seattle! A tip of the cap to all of you amazing folks for all you do for Movember!

Please consider joining me, your friendly Seattle Ambassador, as I give a slideshow presentation about Movember's Inagural Adventure team's Kilimanjaro climb from March this year. I'll be talking about the training, the climb and the experience in an interactive manner.

Sunday, December 4th at Stoup Brewing in Ballard. 7 pm start in their upstairs space. I'll have some Movember swag you might walk home with. And, might buy a few beers as an end of the campaign thank you for all your hard work.

Here we MO!

Blasted by $100k, great work everyone! There's 200+ people in our challenge, if everyone walks 2 miles tomorrow we can get over 2000 miles on our move challenge. I'm going out and doing mine now!

You should all be super proud of yourselves! Over $100k again, a great job by all of you out there!

Hey there everyone! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving yesterday and are hopefully enjoying some time off with family & friends.

We are so close to $100k as a group, let's keep up the great work and push over that mark for the 2022 campaign! Let's also see if we can collectively hit 2000 miles moved, it's within reach!

Hey All! We have sold out of our first round of PNW Masks! Thanks for the early interest! We can order more if the demand is there (minimum order is 112), please let me know at travis.harth@movember.com

The PNW Mask (below) is $3 cost giving you the ability to bump up the price to others to raise money. If you want a custom design for your team or network, it' s$5/mask.

Keep up the good work!

125 Week(s) Ago

Hey All! We have finalized our local design for everyone's favorite new accessory....face masks! Thanks to Lee Martineau for leading the charge on this. We've planned to order 100 out of the gate (25 already accounted for!), so if you want some, please let me know at Travis.harth@movember.com.

Still finalizing pricing, but you could exchange these for a donation to your profile to help you out with fundraising efforts. With the likleyhood of masks being needed for the foreseeable future, we can look to explore supplying these beyond just November.

Note: As donations can be made privately, not all donations are displayed to the public.
