My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health

My dad bravely battled cancer 4 times in his life. First, he faced the terrifying diagnosis of testicular cancer in his 20s. He fought and won, and even short one testicle (which we never let him forget), he went on to marry my mom and have three beautiful (if I do say so myself) daughters. In his 50s, he was diagnosed with B-cell lymphoma. It almost killed him. But he fought, and won, and lived to walk my older sister down the aisle, meet his first grandchild, and walk me down the aisle. In his 60s, after a routine physical, he was diagnosed with bladder cancer. Again, he fought, and we thought won. After a couple years post-surgery and of life never quite being the same, we found out he had bone cancer. This time, he didn't win. This time, he didn't get to meet his second grand child, and he'll never walk my little sister down the aisle. He'll never watch Die Hard with me on Christmas again, or cook with all the dishes in the kitchen again. I implore you, take control of your mental and physical health. Don't be afraid of it. Know yourself and tell your doctor if something seems "off". You can fight and you can win.
