My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health

Have fun and take pictures with moustashy pictures through Movember (I am hesitating between Tom Selleck, Freddie Mercury and the "Cop Stashe" still).
And also, raise awareness for men’s health and hopefully raise money for the a good cause along the way.

Specifically, prostate cancer is kinda personal, with my father having gone through extensive treatments in 2022 to get it back in check. On a bright note, it prostate cancer is easily detectable, and the treatments are quite efficient when the cancer is diagnosed early, so let's commit to doing our own regular check-ups when we reach 40 years of age!
(And my dad would say: 30 is even better when you have a family history!)

How I'm
getting involved
Lipholsterers
Team captain Maurice Leacock
$0 Team funds raised
0 of 60 miles
walking
running
I'm moving 60km this Movember for the 60 men we lose each hour of every day.

I was remiss and forgot to post pictures after my Phillie Marathon 10 days back!
Here it is for Movember posterity - technically for the 8K the day before, just as fun with lots of spectators loving the Hawaiian shirt and a couple more astute praising the moustache.
3:10:30 finish time, always aiming just above Boston qualifier for my age group in the last three years. That's a skill I further mastered through the pandemic!
