With great mustache comes great responsibility!

Cancer has profoundly impacted my life. Back in 2012, I was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Fortunately, it was detected early, and now, 12 years later, I’m fully recovered and blessed with two beautiful children. However, it’s not as simple as just saying, "I’m cured." The mental and emotional toll cancer takes can be just as heavy. The constant check-ups, the fear of recurrence, and the physical changes are ongoing challenges.

I’m incredibly fortunate that mine was caught early, which is why it’s so important to educate the young men in your life to "screen your beans." Testicular cancer primarily affects men between the ages of 18 and 35. My oncologist said something during our first meeting that’s worth sharing: "With testicular cancer, it’s not about hoping we can cure it—when caught early, we know we can cure it."
