Our Motivation

About 1 in 9 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime. In 2020 alone, there is estimated to have been about 191, 930 new cases. A friend of Bates Lacrosse and father of a member of the women's lacrosse team, Chris Grennon, was diagnosed with Metastatic Hormone Sensitive Prostate Cancer earlier this year. Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men's health, and this Movember, the Bates Men's Lacrosse Team is joining them. This November, our team members will each be growing a mustache and sharing this page to spread awareness. We're raising funds and awareness this Movember for all the dads, brothers, and sons in our lives. Please donate to support men's health.
