Our Motivation

In 2015, Huron embarked on a mission to help change the face of men’s health by participating in the Movember Foundation’s tradition of formal growing, fundraising, and awareness building that takes place every year in the month formerly known as November. The Movember Foundation is a global charity committed to men living happier, healthier, longer lives. As a company with a strong presence in the healthcare community and one that is committed to ensuring good health and well-being, Huron’s involvement with this great foundation is a natural fit. In partnership with the Veterans iMatter team, we've been able to raise more than $68,000 for the Movember movement since 2015. Now the only missing piece of the puzzle is your involvement!

Looking forward to completing the 60 miles for MOVEmber tomorrow at the Turkey Trot in Franklin, TN. Fifty-seven miles down, three to go!!!

Dan Foreman

Let’s MOVE together! As we head home (or however you celebrate Thanksgiving) let’s get on the MOVE together to support the Movember goals! We encourage you all to get out there to run/walk/bike/skip an informal in-person 5K with your friends and family!

Post your favorite Movember pics here from the Virtual 5k or any other activities you're doing this month!

We have several cities that are meeting up to host a 5k in person, sign up,!
- Chicagoland – Chris Niswonger
- Seattle Area – Erick Lacayo & Cynthia Gordon
- Pensacola Area – Monica Wright
- Kansas City Area – Todd Forbes II and Ashley Wohlgemuth

Ideas include:
- you in your Movember Gear! (bonus points if you're on the MOVE in it)
- a facial hair update for Fear the Beard
- your friends/family doing the virtual 5k this week (bonus points if you all have mustaches!)
- your sweaty selfie
