We’d like to recognize some individuals and teams whose fundraising efforts paid off, not only to change the face of men’s health, but to be rewarded too!
First up, Team Mo Faux's, is a team with only 9 members – proving that yet again, a small group of Mo’s who band together can raise an incredible $58,108! Congratulations to all of the Mo Faux's, with a special shout out to their fearless leader captain Mo Bro Tim Jacobs who will receive a Movember and LIVESTRONG Foundation prize pack for his valiant efforts motivating a team of 10 members (or less)!
The team, with 11 or more members, who demonstrated the power of teamwork by raising a remarkable $180,545 is none other than Team Nuclear! The team, with 184 members, was led by Mo Bro John Cornuke, who will be rewarded with a Movember and LIVESTRONG prize pack for rallying the troops.
This year, any Mo Sista who raised $75, and any other Mo who raised $50, $250 or $500 were automatically entered into a special Movember draw to win some unique prizes. Let's meet the winners:
Ladies first! Congratulations to Sarah Stewart, the $75 Mo Sista draw winner! With her father's memory as motivation, she certainly would make him proud for her amazing efforts netting at $1,546 raised for Movember. Sarah will receive stylish Demitasse yellow gold moustache stud earrings for her hard work!
The big winner for the $250 draw is Mo Bro Brian Silva. He shaved his massive beard off at the start of the month and went on to grow his funds! Well done, sir! Brian will receive a Movember and LIVESTRONG prize pack.
The coveted $500 draw prize goes to Mo Bro Oliver Portera! His motivation this year was his father who was diagnoised with prostate cancer in 2011, has had two surgeries and radiation, and is now cancer free! As Oliver told Movember, " I'd do anything for that dude and thought it be nice to set up our page in dedication to him." Well, maybe Oliver will take his Pop to a live sporting event of his choice, VIM style, courtesy of our friends at Foster’s.
You may be wondering why we haven't listed the $50 draw winners...well there are just too many! Our generous friends at OneHope Coffee supplied discount codes (good for a one month supply of Joe) to hundreds of Mo's who raised over $50! Hope you were one of the lucky winners!
