2 MIN READ
As Movember often brings out the competitive side of our Mo Bros and Mo Sistas, the Mo Challenges were a big hit for the 2011 campaign. Below are a few of the biggest fundraisers. Cheers to the hard work of all the Mo Challenge participants!

From Digerati to Mo-rati!
Back for a second year, the Digital Challenge claimed the top spot in the Mo Challenges, raising an incredible $132,722!  What continues to be unique about the Digital Challenge, above and beyond the money raised, is the awareness and reach they bring to the Movember campaign. After calculating all the numbers, this year’s winner is the Team Austin family, comprised of Team Austin + Yodle + Bazaarvoice + WCG Austin + Mo Pack + Mutual Mo Bros, bringing in $48,788. Rounding out the podium are Team Boston $42,942 and Team RDU $19,735. Well done Mo’s!

MBA Challenge hits the books
Movember 2011 marked the first official year of an MBA Mo Challenge, which was a great success. While keeping an eye on their studies, these Mo students also kept a close watch on competing universities and Mo efforts. The healthy competition netted $119,080, with LBS Movember out of Great Britain (London Business School) leading the charge by raising $32,283 to help change the face of men’s health.

Gamers Grow Mo’s for Big Dough
The first ever Gaming Challenge was created this Moustache Season, spearheaded by top gaming Mo Bro, Karl Stewart of Crystal Dynamics.  What started as an idea to bring some Mo folks in the gaming community together has grown into an international challenge with over 1,000 participants raising over $117,000!  Of the 39 teams in the Gaming Challenge network, major gaming names like Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, Nintendo, and Crystal Dynamics all have been jockeying for the top three positions in the network.  A tip of the cap is in order to all the participants for making the inaugural year of the Movember Gaming Challenge an incredible success!

Pretty it up with a Necklace Challenge
Led by Movember’s partner, Demitasse Jewelry, the Demistache Necklace Challenge made up of 458 members raised $94,761! They also had a great time with mini-challenges like a photo contest, and the top team and individual fundraiser received limited edition Demistache necklaces.
