MOVE It
- Don’t forget that #MOVEmber is the month to MOVE— no MOVE is too big or too small. Get your fellow Mo Bros and Mo Sistas involved in anything from a wacky relay race to a Ping-Pong tournament or a charity yoga class. Your body will thank you later. (And so will your friends).
Get Your Community on Board
- Make sure you’ve got your elevator pitch down—Movember aims to have an everlasting impact on the face of men’s health, and people want to know why you care about the cause. If you plan to grab the mic and drop some serious men’s health knowledge, study up on what the Movember Foundation does and why. Screen a video, or pass around a one-pager. The Mo is charming, but its raison d’etre is vital.
Register it
- You can create your own event by clicking “My Events” from your Mo Space page. Give it a good title and a gripping description, and we can list it on our events page.
Make it Legit… With a Kit.
- Not only do we have some of the coolest swag on the block, but we’ve got Event Kits with everything you need for the perfect Mo party. People might think the moustache-judging portion is just a farce until you dazzle them with your bona fide Judging Sash. Yeah, we mean business here.
- Pins, stickers, and other merchandise are always a great way to incentivize people to donate, or just get them stoked about having Movember pins and stickers. Dangle the prize and watch the frenzy unfurl.
Promote!
- Email your contacts, post on Facebook, and tweet your tweeple. Spread the message far and wide and don’t forget to remind people what it’s all about. Don’t forget to tag #Movember and #MOVEforMovember on social media.
