Our motivation for hosting the No Shave November competition at UNC Chapel Hill is simple yet powerful: we want to make a difference in the lives of men facing health challenges. By growing our mustaches and beards, we grow awareness about the importance of early detection and prevention of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health. By participating in No Shave November, we unite as individuals, fraternities, and the UNC community to raise awareness and funds for men’s health issues. Together, we can break down the stigmas surrounding these issues and promote a healthier, happier future for all.
