My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Prostate cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

My son, James and I are going to MO again this year! With a year of shaving under his belt, lets see how the caterpillar looks at the end of MOvember!

In 2020, my brother Dave and I were both diagnosed with prostate cancer, in 2022 we are both happy to share we both 3+ years cancer free. I have shared my story these last few years to anyone interested (or even not) with the simple hope to encourage people in the 40+ age group to talk to their doctors and get screened with a simple blood test (PSA). Prostate cancer is slow moving and very treatable, so if you are in your 40s or more TELL your doctor to do the blood test, if I didn't ask my doctor, I wouldn't have discovered it! Please direct message me if you have any questions, I would love the opportunity to help in any way.

Mental Health issues continue to weigh heavily on me as well this year, it keeps hitting too close to home. I think it is nothing short of an epidemic and with little widely accepted methods for treatment, but there seems to be some progress with access to treatment. DIAL 988...it is that simple and free! If you or someone you love is stuggling, please just make the call and see what happens! The MOvember foundation shines a light on mental health issues for men, and really all of us, punching our way through this life. It is more than OK to acknowledge any mental health concerns you have and ask for help, and this site will also provide some other quick resources as a start.
