My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Prostate cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

I’m taking on my first marathon this year by running the NYC Marathon in support of Movember, raising funds and awareness for men’s health. As a father now, this mission feels even more personal. I want my son to grow up seeing what it means to prioritize health, speak openly about challenges, and show up for others when it matters most.

Running the NYC Marathon for Movember is more than a personal milestone. It is an opportunity to honor the men in my life who have been affected by both prostate cancer and mental health struggles, and turn that support into action on one of the world’s biggest stages.

Help me cross the finish line and help stop men dying too young!

Back in 2004, my Uncle Robert passed away from Stage 4 prostate cancer. He was a brilliant man who loved his family dearly, the Beatles, and had a badass mustache.

This is a beautiful picture of my Aunt Amelia and Uncle Robert. Both of these wonderful people were taken from us far too soon.

My Uncle Robert was diagnosed with prostate cancer in its advanced stages. He was probably the smartest man I have ever met. I can still recall his calm, soft voice, always ready to drop some knowledge. His mustache is also something I can vividly recall. I will continue to grow my mustache by participating in Movember in memory of Robert Martin.
