My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention
Testicular cancer

Last years campaign was a huge success, but there's still plenty of work to be done to raise much needed awareness and funds for this great cause.

So, for 2023 I'm going for the big 60km Ultra-Mo-Rathon again... Although this time I'm taking it out of the city and into the mountains!

On Saturday 18th November, I'll make my way down to the Fiordland National Park and run the 60km Kepler Track.

The Kepler is one of NZs great walks, rated as an intermediate difficulty and usually walked over 4-days.

Taking me over Mt Luxmore then around the Jackson Peaks, Mt Tinsley, and the Kepler Mountains, the course is 60km long with a good mix of flat sections, steep uphill climbs and knee-jarring descents. The total amount of ascent and descent across the whole course is 1350m, with the highest point at Luxmore Saddle coming in at a whopping 1400m high.

Why?

1. Once again, I'm running 60km for the 60 men we lose to suicide each hour, every hour across the world.

2. I'm a big bloke running ultramarathons... It starts conversations and raises much needed awareness.

3. After receiving so many wonderful messages last year, from those that had been inspired by my efforts, I want to continue to inspire and encourage people to set goals and smash some physical and mental challenges for themselves.

As always, thanks for checking out my mospace, keep looking after yourself and those around you!
