My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health

So look, I've been doing Movember for 8 years now - I care a lot about the cause of preventing prostate and testicular cancer and this has been a great vehicle to further the work to reduce the incidence of these diseases.

But this year is so different, and while I'm grateful for any donations that you might send this way, I'm much more concerned about spreading the word about getting and staying healthy. COVID-19 is wreaking havoc on our health care system and I believe we need to do everything we can to ensure that precious health care resources are available for those who need it, and that means doing our part to get and stay healthy.

So this year, my focus is on (men's) health - you won't hear me asking for donations (as much). Instead I'll be pushing everyone to get out there and MOVE. Staying active promotes staying healthy, and we all should be doing our part to help each other.

So get out there - walk, run, bike, yoga, pilates, crossfit, tennis, ski, etc. etc. Stay safe and stay active, and wear your mask. Make this the Movember where you made the commitment to get healthier!

Been working at the polls for the last couple of weeks and Sunday is my one day off this week, and it turned out to be a great day to get out and MOVE. High of 70 and a gorgeous blue sky to accompany my bike ride, and even a little friend that showed up along the way.
And BTW, if you haven't voted yet, get MOVing to the polls on Tuesday (or Monday if your state permits it)!

Note: As donations can be made privately, not all donations are displayed to the public.
