My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

For the 14th year in a row, the mustache is making a comeback — and not just because it looks great in selfies. I’m once again growing the ‘stache (and raising funds) to shine a light on three causes that have hit home for me and my family.

Prostate Cancer: Both of my grandfathers faced it, and my dad has been dealing with prostate issues for over a decade. Men with a family history are twice as likely to develop prostate cancer — which means the risk doesn’t stop with him. It carries over to me, my sons, and even my nephews.

Skin Cancer: It doesn’t get nearly enough airtime, even though men are twice as likely to get it — and die from it — than women. Long-term effects can be serious, and awareness can literally save lives.

Mental Health: This one’s personal. Like many men, I kept my struggles bottled up for too long. In 2024, I made a point to check back in on my mental health, and the difference it’s made for me (and my family) has been huge. But too often, men don’t talk about it — and that needs to change.

I’m doing Movember 2025 not just for my family — past and present — but also for the countless families who support me every single year. Every dollar raised can spark change, create awareness, or even save someone’s life down the road.

This year, I’m honored to once again serve as a Movember Ambassador for the Columbus, Ohio area (the 614!) — helping provide resources, guidance, and even hosting an event to keep the conversation going.

Last year, you all helped me raise $2,760. Since 2012, together we’ve raised $21,627. My goal this year is $2,000 — and with your help, I know we can crush it.

So, let’s grow some conversations (and a few mustaches) that matter.
