My dad, Charlie, passed away at age 66 from prostate cancer. He fought cancer for over 30 years.
He beat it many times, but the cancer eventually returned, causing too many complications, and it ultimately took him from us.

Suicide prevention is also deeply personal to me. I've lost friends to suicide, most recently RJ Mitte (actor and friend). It's also a leading cause of death among veterans like myself. As l've grown up, I've also struggled with suicidal thoughts myself.

Day 1, Year 1 (Navy Veteran dedicating to …⬇️)
I have participated in Movember unofficially for many years and decades, not knowing there was an official site and official rules. I am very excited to be involved and I am dedicating this to my dad who passed away from prostate cancer and complications of prostate cancer.
And I am also doing this for myself. I am a NAVY VETERAN. I battle depression, anxiety, PTSD, MST, and other Men’s Health issues from serving my country.
