Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

When you're new to Sales, you follow the people that are killing it on LinkedIn. It's what you do.

And a few years ago, I stumbled across Tim Perreira. A man who's always been transparent about his time in Sales. Highlighting the big wins, looking to understand the losses. Even becoming vulnerable about his mental health journey - something which I've come to appreciate the most. I recommend checking him out to learn more about his journey if you're unfamiliar!

And if you do know Tim, you know he's currently doing something amazing. As of today he's on Day 48 Walking across America. A staggering 2,800 mile journey with no music, no podcasts, just one step at a time and about 25 miles a day. All to raise donations for Men's Mental Health.

And the reason Tim's doing this is to start some conversations and break the stigma. Because far too many men are trying to "tough it out" by keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. Being in Sales is a very rewarding but also very stressful career and it's okay to ask for help!

One of Tim's goals is to inspire 1,000 men to take their first step toward mental well-being and take the 34,000-Step Challenge. A challenge dedicated to the roughly 34,000 men that pass yearly from suicide.

On Saturday May 10th, I will be taking on the 34,000-Step Challenge (roughly 17 miles) and walking across Boston to help fundraise to support Movember.

Movember, a company we already support at Aqueduct every November, has raised over $1.4B for men's mental health over the last 20+ years. Their efforts go towards supporting Men's Health, Prostate and Testicular Cancer Treatment, and Mental Health and Suicide Prevention. All which are dearly needed.

I'm raising money to start the conversation in hopes to decrease the numbers around the 6,000,000 men that are impacted by depression every year. If you can donate, share, or even comment on this post for visibility, you'd be helping more than you know! My goal is to raise $1,000 in donations for this great cause.
