I’ve been given the incredible opportunity to run in the New York City Marathon with Movember. This marathon is not just a physical challenge but a meaningful journey to raise awareness about men’s mental health.

It’s coming up on 3 years since I lost my cousin — someone who wasn’t just family, but who I grew up with like a brother. His passing, after his battle with mental health, changed everything for me. In our Paraguayan community, we’ve experienced deep losses, and many of us have been touched by the struggles that our loved ones faced with mental health. As we remember and honor those we’ve lost, I want to ensure that their memories inspire positive change.

By supporting my fundraising efforts, you’ll be helping to fund crucial programs that provide mental health support for men, encouraging them to seek help and start conversations that can save lives.

En nuestra comunidad paraguaya hemos vivido pérdidas profundas, y muchos de nosotros hemos sido tocados por las batallas que enfrentaron nuestros seres queridos. Al recordar y honrar a quienes ya no están, quiero asegurarme de que sus memorias inspiren un cambio positivo.
