My motivation

A colleague’s spouse was recently diagnosed with advanced-stage prostate cancer. He’s young for the diagnosis and the disease went undetected. I’d like to help raise awareness of this and similar conditions and encourage men to ask questions.

Also, as the father of a son, I’d like to help shine a spotlight on men’s mental health, something that has too long been ignored. Acknowledging problems and seeking help to address them should be recognized a sign of strength.
