Several years ago, I had a scare... down there.
I discovered a small lump and made an appointment with the doctor. He checked me out and said, "It's probably nothing, but let's get an ultrasound to be sure." I made the appointment for the scan for a week or so later then went into panic mode for seven days.
Who will take care of my son? What about my business? What about the people who depend on me? I was terrified.
In my case, I was very lucky. It turned out to be a relatively common cyst - nothing to worry about. Unfortunately, not all who face that same "down there scare" get to write it off as just a memory.
So, for the next 30 days, this is me.
I'm sacrificing my ever-present, glorious beard for a very good cause. For the month of November, I am wearing a mildly ridiculous (possibly glorious) "Cookie Duster" in hopes that it will encourage you to make a donation to this very worthy cause. Thank you in advance and...

Hey Greg, Thanks for including us on your ping pong ball shooting challenge. I had no idea how hard it might be to peg that ball to a target, so I was a little afraid to jump in with both feet. I elected to shoot for $5 per shot at 20 yards. My first shot actually skimmed the bottom of the ball, but didn’t peg it to the target. Shot right beside it on the second, right under on the third. The thought started creeping into my mind that this might wind up being more difficult than I thought. Lol. But the fourth shot pegged it! So I’m going to up my donation to $25 a shot and my church is going to match that! I’m 67, so I’ve known so many loved ones who have fought the battle with cancer. It’s truly wonderful to see the medical advancements that have taken place in my lifetimes, and I pray for much more success in the future.
