My motivation

As a clinical social worker with my own experiences coping with anxiety and depression, I know the importance of mental well-being and men's health. Health cannot be achieved without taking care of both one’s mind and body. I have been running for the last 8 years as a way to make sure I am fit physically and mentally. I am incredibly honored to be running the 2025 Chicago Marathon with Movember this October. I know that with Movember we can make a difference for men's health – in prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
