My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. Movember is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.

Not only did we lose a best friend, a brother, and a son when we lost Nicholas Kister in May of 2019, but we lost an outgoing, smart, and humble guy. A man that wore a smile so deep, the pain wasn't noticeable. It's perfectly fine to speak up and express your emotions, even when society says "be a man!" I'm fundraising to change this stigma. Men can be emotional, men can cry, and men can talk about how they feel. Your story is important and Movember is here to help.

Over the last few years of fundraising, one thing that I have found is that people will come together for the greater good. Not only were our lives hit by a pandemic, which began challenging more people than average with mental health, but it generated a conversation. I, myself, have opened up and will continue to do so. If you're having a challenging day, admit it and take the day to do what you need to do to be the best you. We all have days, but lets talk through it and make the most of the support around you.
