My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Prostate cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

If you know me, you know that I have a soft spot for prostates, so no surprise that I'm raising money for early detection of prostate cancer, right? But I have another compelling motivation.

Movember has contributed so much in the arena of "Mental Health and Suicide Prevention". Men are taught to tough it out, not to express their emotions, and keep it all inside. Did you know that 75% of suicides are men? The skills needed to deal with and overcome personal trauma are the same skills men are trained out of since boyhood, including bonding with other men and expressing emotions. This needs to change, and Movember is making great strides in this regard, on a global level.

You'll find personal stories of men from all over the world about the struggles they are facing, whether it's how to have a meaningful conversation with a buddy, or learning how to take better care of their health and not feel like they have to 'tough it out'.
