My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

I'm riding 1,000 miles this month to try to raise $10,000!!! Oh, and I'm also going to grow a beard for the first time in years. I HATE growing facial hair, so I'm not sure which will be harder, the riding, or the not shaving!

As many of you may know, I had a herniated disc in my back this past February and March that kept me off my bike for about 8 weeks. It was really tough for me both physically and emotionally - FOMO is real!

But I am very grateful that I have a great support network of friends and family who were there for me when I felt down about my injury, and not being able to do what I love to do. Thanks to the physical therapy and a new dedicated stretching regimen, I'm feeling a lot better and have been back on the bike for a while now!

Unfortunately, not everyone has that same support network, or has the ability to tap into one for any number of reasons. I'm hoping our support for Movember and its wide array of services can help make those connections for any men that need that same support in their lives!

Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. Movember is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.

More young men than ever are struggling with mental health issues. We need to stop the stigmatization of mental health now!

Thank-you for your commitment and support.

We've now arrived at Movember 30 and everyone in this challenge should pause for a moment to reflect on an amazing job done, what can only be described as an epic 'stache and an impressive commitment to help change the face of men's health.

As Mo season is coming to a close, I want to flag that the leaderboards will officially close on Thursday, December 7th at 5 pm EST, marking the moment we crown our 2023 Movember champions of each challenge. While donations can still be received after this time, please note that they won't contribute to the leaderboard race.

Thanks for all you have done this year and will continue to do as we move forward.
