Community Ambassadors

Want to make a real difference for men’s health? All while havin’ fun and doin’ good?

Become a Movember Community Ambassador and help raise life-changing, game-changing funds for men’s health.

You’ll spread the word, bring communities together and support Movember’s mission to help men live happier, healthier, longer lives.

So what do Movember Community Ambassadors do?

  • You’ll Host signature Movember events in your community.
  • You’ll raise funds and awareness for Movember’s game-changing cause.
  • You’ll recruit new members from the local community.
  • And you’ll get the chance to engage with local media and at speaking opportunities.

Student Ambassadors

As a Movember Student Ambassador you’ll learn first-hand knowledge about entrepreneurship, social impact and grassroots marketing. It’s not just about havin’ fun while doin’ a whole heap of good – you’ll gain valuable skills that prepare you for your professional career.

So what do Student Ambassadors get up to?

  • You’ll lead peer-to-peer fundraising and awareness campaigns on campus that help fund Movember’s game-changing men’s health initiatives.
  • You’ll Host Movember events throughout the year.
  • You’ll recruit fellow students and student organizations to the Movember cause.
  • And you’ll spread awareness for Movember’s three main cause areas: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention.

Frequently asked questions

How much money do I need to raise?

Community Ambassadors are expected to fundraise at least $2,000 during the annual Movember campaign period.

Student Ambassadors are expected to raise at least $300 during Movember.

My campus already has an ambassador. Can I join too?

Absolutely! Our goal is to have two (or more) Student Ambassadors on each college campus.

How long does the Ambassador Program run for?

Community Ambassadors are expected to dedicate 4-6 hours per week to the cause, from September to December. Community Ambassadors are encouraged to return the following year.

What additional costs am I responsible for?

Being a Movember Ambassador is a volunteer role.

Community Ambassador may receive a $500 event budget.
