The Movember Student Ambassador Program gives college students an opportunity to start a fun campus tradition and make an everlasting impact on the face of men’s health. Aimed at confident, organized and enthusiastic students, SA’s are empowered to use their skills and campus networks to lead a fall fundraising campaign and cultivate a community of Mo Bro’s and Mo Sister’s.
This is an excellent opportunity for student leaders interested in gaining experience in entrepreneurship, philanthropy, social impact, and/or health promotion. This role is open to all students actively enrolled in the Fall 2019 semester, and the ability to grow a moustache is not required, but always welcomed.
What we ask from you:
• Recruit students and student organizations to join the campaign by getting them to sign-up on Movember.com and join your university network; taking on the other universities in the Big Moustache on Campus challenge (BMOC)
• Host fundraising events across campus during the Movember campaign (e.g. Shave Down, Stache Bash, Undie Run, etc.)
• Promote our three cause areas on campus: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health & suicide prevention.
Successful applicants will receive:
• Training on how to start a campus-wide movement and the opportunity to develop your events and project management portfolio
• Media training for potential national and/or local press interviews
• Promotional materials to further promote Movember on campus
• Resume reference from the Movember Foundation for future leadership roles, internships, or job opportunities.

The moustache stands for two things. Having fun & doing good. But don’t take it from us, see what some of our previous student leaders had to say about their experience…
“As students, we've seen mustaches across our campus every year during the month of November. Movember inspires men to have conversations about their health that they otherwise wouldn't have.” Greyson McDonald, Texas Christian University
“I had an amazing time as a Student Ambassador and would love to be part of it again next year.” Johnny Rose, Princeton University
“Movember’s mission directly coincides with the goals of our UGA fraternities: to develop better men. We look forward to continuing to support and fundraise for Movember in years to come.” Sam Nevers, University of Georgia
“Being a Student Ambassador was a great opportunity and I love being a part of the Movember team!” Dominic Dimambro, University of Michigan
“Since 2007, three members of the UVM Men's Lacrosse team have been diagnosed with cancer and one member of our team lost his brother after a long fight with depression. The UVM Lacrosse team is proud to raise awareness about Men’s Health once again.” Adam Chodos, University of Vermont (Big Moustache on Campus Winner)
