Celebrating a $1 million milestone with the South Bay Mo Bros

16 years ago, Mo Bro Sandy Goodman's wife told him that her father had prostate cancer. At the time, Sandy knew that he had a prostate and generally where it was, but that was about it. So, he started doing research to better understand what his father-in-law was about to face. He had heard about Movember, and while he'd never grown a moustache before, the idea started to grow on him.

Now, 16 years later, Sandy has rallied an entire team -- the South Bay Mo Bros -- around the cause. Sandy Mo's in honor of his father-in-law, who passed away from prostate cancer, as well as a friend and teammate who they lost, and all those who reach out when their own health issues have come up. Sandy's goal? "To raise awareness and literally and figuratively change the face of men's health".

This year, Sandy and the South Bay Mo Bro's achieved an incredible Movember milestone: $1 million raised over their time with Movember. To help them reach this amazing victory and celebrate all that they've done, the team hosted an epic cornhole tournament at Manhattan Beach & 900 Club. With over 140 attendees at-the-ready to have fun, doin' good, the event raised over $30,000.

"My goal is to get as many Mo Bros on board as I can. I’ve sent thousands of emails, and inspired hundreds of men to grow their Mo’s. My sons have been growing their moustaches with me, spreading awareness of testicular cancer to their friends. We’re talking more openly than we ever did, and that means they’ll be more likely to get their prostates checked too, when they are older," shares Sandy.

Thrilled, humbled, honored, the list goes on. From the tips of our Mo's to the bottoms of our hearts. Thank you South Bay Mo Bro's for your epic contribution to changing the face of Men's Health. United we Mo!
