Prime turkey-eating time is almost here. No matter where you are or how you’re spending Thanksgiving, it’s still a great opportunity to remind your loved ones why you’re doing Movember and the difference their dollars will make to improve the health of men and their communities.
Like gravy is to turkey, Movember is here to lift you up. Turbo-charge your fundraising on the hairy home stretch using our donation-magnet calendar checklist.
- Tuesday 26th: Try a dare for donations to get some extra fundraising dollars toward your goal. Maybe it's dying your hair or moustache, an exercise challenge, or a promise to do a polar plunge.
- Wednesday 27th: Social connection is a cornerstone of staying mentally healthy. Catch up with friends and ask them to support you with a donation.
- Thursday 28th, Thanksgiving: Let friends and family know why you are participating. It's a great time to ask for support from family members who aren't on social media or don't check their email. And don't forget, we are super thankful for you.
- Friday 29th: Our match with Pringles is back! Starting at 9am PST/12pm EST - donations of $25+ will get a $25 match (while funds last) - up to $250 per fundraiser. See all the details here.
- Saturday 30th: Show off on the final official day of Movember. Use Instagram Stories (or your favorite social media) to call for a $20 donation from all of your followers.
- Sunday Dec 1st: Close out the busiest shopping weekend of the year with some Movember merch. (Use code MO10 for 10% off from Nov 29 - Dec 2)
- Monday 2nd: Time to send out some thank you's! Your donors have supported your incredible efforts, so don't forget to give them some gratitude. Also - public thank you's (like via social media) can also encourage others to donate
- Tuesday 3rd: It's GivingTuesday! While the month of Movember may be over, there's a lot of focus on charitable giving today. Take advantage to get those last minute donations from any stragglers.
When in doubt, share your Mo Space, anywhere and everywhere. It’s the most important part of your fundraising.
There are only so many days of hairy goodness left. And it’s all in the name of creating healthier men and healthier communities.
