Raising the profile of men’s health with UK politicians

As a global leader in men’s health, Movember gave evidence in 2024 to the UK’s Health Select Committee alongside other organisations to the inquiry into Men’s Health. The result? The Chair of the Committee to the Secretary of State recommended the next government take more action on men’s health and ‘publishes a men’s health strategy to complement the women’s health strategy’. We have also engaged policy makers to build support for more government action on men’s health including the Speakers House event and a Movember roundtable with the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care. Earlier diagnoses and less unnecessary biopsies and treatment. READ MORE

Last year, we celebrated a significant milestone: the recruitment of 420 men and boys from across the US, Europe and Australia. The trial is now in the “follow-up” phase, where we monitor how these guys fare with treatment over time. FIND OUT MORE
