My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

On a random Friday in October 2023 my life changed. I remember reading the results of my ultrasound that I received a few days prior for what I thought was a cyst. I pounded my fist on the table after reading the results. I turned to my partner and bluntly said, "I have cancer." I felt like I was in a nightmare.

I was officially diagnosed in November 2023 with a testicular seminoma after surgery and days before Christmas I received chemotherapy. But I never missed a Steelheads game! The Steelheads were my harbor in the storm. It allowed me to escape from this nightmare.

But I am lucky! I worked in healthcare so I understood the seriousness of what I was reading. I sought out care quickly and advocated for myself. Others often don't have that luxury. These issues impact OUR sons, fathers, and brothers! Our goal is to raise awareness and educate our fellow Steelhead fans.
